After 84 years at the intersection of Creighton Ave. and Oliver Street in Fort Wayne, and 41 years operated by Tom Barto, Barto's Gas Station closed its doors on Friday for the last time. Tom Barto took over the station from his father in 1973, and he and his wife, Beverly, have run it ever since, but due to upcoming costs and the couple approaching retirement age, they've decided to close down the station.
